Hi there! It’s been a while!

Hello friends, it’s been quite a while since I have posted anything. Lots of changes in my life and trying to help my teens/adult children make their way in this life.

How are you? How has life been treating you? What have you been creating?

I have been back in the studio the past couple months finding my way to painting again. Some amazing inspiration has made its way into my soul. I have been spending a lot of time reflecting in nature, specifically in the mornings. My backyard is woods, and in the mornings all spring and summer, I have been greeted by a momma deer and her two babies. It’s been wonderful to see them grow and thrive. I’ve also become obsessed with birdwatching! I have birdfeeders, binoculars and my trusty Merlin bird id app. Every morning it’s been a joy to be visited by so many little flighted friends singing their morning songs and looking at each other with so much curiosity. Although, I think on their part, perhaps they are looking at me more so to see if I am a threat. And on my part, I just like to pretend I am Snow White and the birds and I have this magical understanding…. LOL!!! All of these little things we seem to forget in life, give us a moment to be still and be present, for this I am grateful, as it had allowed my mind to be quiet enough to let inspiration whisper in me ear. If you don’t already, take a moment each day and step outside , breathe deeply, and find something to get curious about. It’s the small little wonders that truly are gifts.

I have created some new pieces inspired by my love for nature and animals. They have truly made my heart happy and I hope when you see them, they will make your heart happy too!

To all of my past students and art friends/ collectors., I hope to see you soon! I needed a year off to focus on family and healing from so much loss, but I am back and I am ready to teach you, to make art again, and to help inspire the creative self!

Below are some newer pieces I have worked on recently as well as a few I did last year before my long break. I will have my online shop ready to go soon which will have my new paper prints, stretched canvas prints and original paintings.
